This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work for paid Public Lens plans processed through Razorpay.

Subscriptions and billing
Public Lens Pro is offered as a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly). When you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges through Razorpay until you cancel renewal. Plan pricing and features are shown on the pricing page.
Cancellation
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and will not renew for the next cycle.
- Open Account and go to the subscription tab.
- Select Cancel renewal to stop auto-renewal at the end of your current billing period.
- Keep using Pro features until the period ends — cancellation does not remove access immediately.
Refund eligibility
- Duplicate or accidental charges for the same billing period.
- Billing errors where the amount charged does not match the selected plan.
- Technical failures that prevented access to paid features shortly after purchase, where we cannot restore service promptly.
- Other exceptional cases reviewed individually by our support team.
Generally non-refundable
- Subscription fees for billing periods that have already started, except where required by applicable law.
- Partial-period refunds after you have used Pro features during the current cycle.
- Charges after a cancellation request when access was retained through the end of the paid period.
- Complimentary, promotional, or lifetime access that was not purchased through checkout.
How to request a refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund, contact us through the contact page with your account email, transaction details, and a brief description of the issue. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Processing times may vary by bank or card issuer, typically within 5–10 business days after approval.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review your case directly. Unauthorized chargebacks may lead to temporary account restrictions while the dispute is investigated.
